A Cycle of Support That Builds Lasting Success
Alumni Mentorship

Over the past two years, more than 25 participants have successfully completed the Conquest Workforce program and are now working in stable, meaningful jobs that allow them to grow in their chosen fields.

Our commitment does not end at graduation.

We are actively building a structured alumni mentorship initiative that pairs program graduates with new participants, creating a powerful cycle of support.

Alumni walk alongside individuals who are beginning their journey, offering guidance, accountability, and lived experience as they rebuild their lives.

At Conquest Workforce, we believe in the power of connection and shared experience. The transformation we pursue is not only personal — it is generational.

True success is measured not just by individual achievement, but by how someone takes what they have learned and uses it to help another person rise.

A Second Chance Changed Everything

By the time I walked into that coffee shop that day, my options were running out.

I had just come home from incarceration and was trying to rebuild a life after addiction, carrying a past that most places don’t want anything to do with. People talk about second chances like they’re everywhere, but when you have a record and a history like mine, you quickly learn they’re not. Most doors close before you even get the chance to explain who you’re trying to become.

I also knew myself well enough to know that if something didn’t change soon, I would fall right back into the life that I had just fought to get out of.  Not because I wanted to, but because when the world won’t give you a way forward, people tend to go back to what they know.  What I didn’t realize when I walked through those doors was that this place believed in second chances…even for people like me.

They saw past my worst mistakes and treated me like someone who still had purpose. When you’re trying to build your life, and everything still feels fragile, having the right people in your corner can mean everything. Sometimes it’s the difference between going back to the life that almost destroyed you or building one you never thought was possible.

That chance changed the direction of my entire life! Today, I have been clean for a little over 12 years. Since those early days, I’ve helped run a women’s treatment Center, facilitated IOP groups, worked in case management, and earned both my CDCA and Peer Support licenses.  Now, my focus is on helping keep young people on the right path so they never have to walk the road I did.

None of that happened by accident.  It started with people who believed in me when my life and my recovery were still fragile. Because sometimes the thing that changes everything isn’t a miracle.

Sometimes it’s simply someone willing to give a second chance to the person everyone else has already given up on.
